Fantastic little program which supports external viewers (so that for complicated tasks you can immediately switch to NoteTab or a hex editor) and has many little features lacking in similar applications. Excellent hierarchical information manager. Unlike its competitors, it's free and in many case, better featured - the author has just undertaken to write an all-singing-all-dancing Shareware version, but there will always be a free version, apparently. Thesaurus and dictionary that beats the one provided with Word 2000 into the ground. Extremely comprehensive reference guide which gives synonyms, derivatives and breaks down by noun, verb, adjective, etc.
